Just as Santa always makes his deliveries no matter what the winter weather throws at him, the Santa Dash went ahead in very strong winds and rain with an impressive turnout.
Twenty brave souls made one circuit of the school then as the hailstones lashed them they were off towards the harbour, fighting the wind before the reward of the wind assisted “flight” back.
Well done all of you and special thanks to the marshals, who endured the conditions to keep everyone safe.
Thanks too, to the Elf&Safety runner who kept a watchful eye on proceedings.
£63 was raised for Poolewe Pool thanks to donations from participants.
Let’s double the turnout next year.
